WHO chief talks about the Aarogya Setu app

The Director-General of the World Health Organisation, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has praised Aarogya Setu, a "contract tracing" mobile application developed by the Indian Government to combat Coronavirus.
He stated that the app is downloaded by 150 million users and has helped city public health departments in identifying the areas with more covid transmission rates and take steps to tackle it.

He also spoke about the risk of reinfection and said, " We are only beginning to understand the long term health impacts among people with Covid-19."

The WHO chief talked about other apps that have helped in controlling the spread of the disease and added that the outbreaks can be controlled by taking precautions and implementing targeted measures."
