Singapore Will Pay Couples to have a baby during pandemic.

Singapore has offered their couples one time payment for encourage them for aspiring parents who have had to delay starting a family due to increased financialburden and job layoffs in the covid ravaged economy. Singapore’s deputy prime minister Heng Swee Keat said in a parliament meeting that many aspiring parents have postponed their parenthood plans due this covid -19 and due to their financial crisis .So the government is planning to help them with ther expenses during this covid period. He also stated that the details about the exact amount and how is it going to be paid will be announced by the government .by this way Singapore is planning to boost their their low bith rate .currently eligible couples are being paid up to $7330 to expand their families.
According to the report by Blomberg in 2018 the fertility rate of Singapore has reached eight year low which my countries are facing . During this pandemic the condition has gone more worst. BBC also have reported that china recorded its lowest birth rate since 7 decades .Neighbouring countries like Philippines have also faced the issuses. The United Nations Population Fund has stated that more than half of 2.6 milllion accidental pregnancies due to this covid -19 lockdown and restrictions on movement remain until the end of the year.
