Salman Khurshid's Nainital home vandalised days after release of his new book, 21 booked

Some people vandalised former Union Minister and Congress leader Salman Khurshid's home in Uttarakhand's Nainital on Monday, allegedly after his new book compared Hindutva to radical Islam.
According to DGI (Kumaun) Neelesh Anand, several people have been arrested in connection with the incident.

"Rakesh Kapil and 20 other people have been arrested. The perpetrators will face severe penalties "He stated.
Khurshid wrote on Facebook about sharing photos and videos, "I hoped to help my friends who had left this calling card by opening these doors. Is it still correct to say that this cannot be Hinduism?"

According to the complaint, senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid has compared Hindutva to radical terrorist organisations such as ISIS and Boko Haram.
Meanwhile, in his complaint, advocate Vineet Jindal stated that the statement published in the said book is not only instigating and provoking, but also stirring emotions among Hindus.
