Rahul Gandhi accuses Centre of being 'grossly negligent' about Covid-19
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday hammered the public authority for being "grossly negligent" about the Covid-19 circumstance in the country.
Sharing a screen capture of an India Today report on Twitter, Rahul Gandhi said that the GOI is by and large terribly careless and arrogant about Covid-19. It's not finished at this point.
Gandhi's tweet came because of the public authority expressing that the South African and the Brazilian variations of Covid-19 have entered the country.
Chief General of Indian Center for Medical Research Dr Balram Bhargava told media on Tuesday that India has recorded at any rate one instance of the Brazilian variation of Covid-19 and four instances of the South African variation and that the contaminated individuals and their contacts have been isolated.
The ICMR chief said India presently has 187 patients who have been contaminated with the UK variation of the Covid-19 infection. There have been no mortalities among individuals tainted with the UK variation. All affirmed cases are isolated and treated. Their contacts have been disconnected and tried.
