Priyanka Gandhi attacks BJP government over unpaid dues of UP sugarcane farmers
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday hit out at the BJP government over unpaid levy to sugarcane ranchers of Uttar Pradesh.
"The BJP government has Rs 20,000 crores to fabricate another Parliament passageway, Rs 16,000 crores to purchase an extraordinary plane for PM. Nonetheless, it has no cash to take care of Rs 14,000 crores obligations to the sugarcane ranchers of UP. The cost of sugarcane has not expanded since 2017. This administration just considers extremely rich people," Vadra tweeted.
Then, Congress claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi needs to debilitate ranchers by decimating the base help value framework.
"The Prime Minister needs to debilitate ranchers by decimating the base help value framework. Each choice of the Prime Minister is planned to carry benefits to the business people. Ranchers have now perceived this trick," Congress tweeted. Several ranchers have been fighting on various fringes of the public capital since November 26 against the three recently established homestead laws- - Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
