PM to meet 20 large global investors

Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi will chair a virtual meeting with 20 large global investors managing assets of more than $6 trillion to reiterate India's attractiveness as an investment destination.
Some of the prominent funds that have confirmed attendance are CDPQ, CPP Investments, GIC, Japan Bank for International Co-operation, Mubadala, New York Life, Qatar Investment Authority, Temasek and U.S. International Development Finance Corporation.
We as a country rely on strong partnership with international firms which form an integral part of India's economic strategy. We wish to create an investor-friendly ecosystem along with the ease of doing business. A lot of companies who will be participating would be first timers to make decisions on investment. A structured interaction was previously held during Vibrant Gujarat programmers in 2019 based on dividend and distributive tax.
