On Monday, 10:30 am, PM Narendra Modi will perform a notable function for the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-II and the Surat Metro Rail Project through video-conferencing.
The Metro Rail projects will give a climate friendly 'Mass Rapid Transit System' to these cities.
Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-II is 28.25 km long with two passages. While passageway 1 is from Motera Stadium to Mahatma Mandir, hall 2 is from GNLU to GIFT-City. The finishing cost of the Phase-II undertaking is Rs 5,384 crore.
Surat Metro Rail Project is 40.35 km long and involves two halls. While hall 1 is from Sarthana to Dream City, passageway 2 is from Bhesan to Saroli. The finish cost of the task Rs 12,020 crore.
Surat with a population of around 60 lakh is the quickest developing city in India. The city doesn't have Mass Rapid Transportation System (MRTS), which is why the Centre and the Gujarat government have chosen to give the office in Surat.
