Parliamentary panel members raise issue of Twitter locking Amit Shah's account temporarily in 2020

Individuals from the parliamentary panel raised the issue of Twitter temporarily locking the account of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in 2020.
During communication with Twitter agents, a few individuals, generally from BJP, raised the issue of the platform locking the account of Shah for a brief period towards the end of last year.
Some BJP individuals scrutinised the reality checking system at Twitter and considered how his account was blocked.
Twitter had then said that Amit Shah's record was temporarily locked because of an accidental mistake and the choice was switched right away.
The organisation agents said they need to make a healthy environment.
The parliamentary standing panel on Information Technology on Thursday communicated independently with agents of Facebook, Twitter and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on the issue of shielding people's privileges, preventing misuse of social news media platforms and women security in the digital space.
