On Thursday The central government has appointed three additional Judge of The Gauhati High Court as the permanent Judges of that high Court.

On January 18,2019 Justice Choudhury was appointed as the Additional judge of the High Court.

They are:

Justice Manish Choudhury

Justice Sanjay Kumar Medhi

Justice Nani Tagia

Justice Choudhury was appointed as an Additional Judge of the High Court on January 18, 2019 whereas Justices Medhi and Tagia were appointed on November 19, 2018
And on November 19,2018 justice Medhi, Tagia was appointed.

Justice Choudhury completed his degree in Law from The Gauhati University and enrolled himself in the bar Council of Assam in 1999 and was practicing on principal seat. He was a standing counsel for the Directorate of the records. Also was appointed as the Member of state Law commission, Assam in June 291t and was designed as the senior in April 2017. Justice Medhi and Tagia has obtained their degree from Delhi University. Justice Medhi enrolled himself in bar council at 1994. He started his practice at Jain Hansaria company and then returned to Guwahati in 1995. On November 2017 he was appointed as the Additional Advocate for the General, Assam.
