North Korea fired at a South Korean and then burns his body

On Thursday North Korea was accused by South Korea for firing at a South Korean government official and later burned the body. South Korea’s military demanded punishment for those responsible.
The victim was a government official who was missing from a South Korean ship on Monday.
The government official was on North Korean shores on Tuesday afternoon, said The South Korean Defense Ministry. From the information of the ministry which was released on Thursday, how he died and how he ended up in the North.
Amid a deadlock in nuclear talks between North Korea and the United States ties between the two Koreas remain frosty.
The North committed “this atrocious act” based on an analysis of various intelligence, said the Defense Ministry in a statement.
For political and economic reasons in the past 20 years more than 30,000 North Koreans have fled to South Korea. This defections of South Koreans to North Korea are highly unusual.
