Noble Prize 2020 in Chemistry awarded to two scientists for work in genome editing.

Emmmanuelle Charpentier and Jennifer A.Doudna was awarded the 2020 Noble Prize in chemistry by’ The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences” for development of method for genome editing. The Academy said in a statement that Emmanuelle Charpentier and Jennifer A.Doudna have discovered done gene technology ‘s sharpest tools. This reputable award come with a gold medal and a prize money of 10 million krona ($1.1million).They became the sixth and the seventh women to win the Noble for chemistry .they also said that this technology will have agreat revolution impact on the life sciences ,also contributing to new cancer therapies and many other dreams of curing inherited diseases will come true ,”it added.
