Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's birthday to be celebrated as Parakram Diwas
The Centre has said that Netaji Subas Chandra Bose's birth commemoration on January 23 will be celebrated as Parakram Diwas every year.
In a notification, the Centre on Tuesday declared that January 23 will be known as Parakram Diwas.
Nearing Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's 125th birth anniversary, Union Ministry of Culture talked about respecting Netaji's unstoppable soul and sacrificial support of the country, the Government of India has chosen to commend his birthday on the 23rd of January consistently as Parakram Diwas to motivate individuals of this nation particularly the young and to infuse in them a feeling of energetic enthusiasm.
Recently, an 85-part board, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was formed to celebrate the 125th birth commemoration of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
The board of trustees will loan direction to the recognition exercises in Delhi, Kolkata and different spots related with Netaji and the Azad Hind Fauj, both in India and abroad.
The council will settle on the exercises for a year-long recognition, starting on January 23, 2021, according to the Ministry of Culture.
