Maharashtra BJP threatens protest if no action taken against Sharjeel Usmani for defaming Hindu community
Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday allowed a 48-hour final proposal to the state government to make a move against Sharjeel Usmani, a previous understudy pioneer. According to a protest recorded by BJYM pioneers, Sharjeel Usmani purportedly made maligning explanations on the Hindu people group during his location at the Elgar Parishad meeting in Pune on Saturday.
BJP MLA Ram Kadam said that three days have passed, however no move has been made against the heads of Elgar Parishad who offended the Hindu religion and the Hindu society. The Maharashtra government is attempting to save them.
Maharashtra's Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said on Monday that the state government will look at the discourses made at 'Elgar Parishad 2021'.
A year ago, Sharjeel Usmani was captured by Uttar Pradesh Police for his supposed job in the conflicts that broke out at AMU following a dissent against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
