Kiran Bedi sends out one last message as she exits Puducherry L-G office
Outgoing Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi has delivered a goodbye message for individuals of the Union Territory and said whatever she did as the L-G, was her obligation.
In a message, Kiran Bedi has thanked each one of the individuals who were related to her during her term as Lt Governor of Puducherry — The People of Puducherry and all the public authorities.
In a video on Twitter, Kiran Bedi has given a composed proclamation saying that whatever was done, was a consecrated obligation, satisfying her sacred duties.
Kiran Bedi was on Tuesday removed as the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has been given extra charge of Puducherry.
The President has coordinated that Dr Kiran Bedi will stop to hold the post of the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry and has selected Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor of Telangana, to release the elements of the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, with impact from the date she accepts charge of her office until customary plans for the workplace of Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry are made.
Prior senior Congress administrator Malladi Krishna Rao had encouraged President Ram Nath Kovind to trade Bedi for her supposed obstruction in organization in the association region.
