Bollywood entertainer Kangana Ranaut has assaulted D Roopa Moudgil over her remarks on blasting fireworks on Diwali and required her suspension, saying police authorities like her were a "disgrace for the sake of police power". Ranaut's tweet against the Indian Police Service (IPS) official comes in the setting of an altercation among Moudgil and a mainstream Twitter handle True Indology over the source of fireworks and whether they were utilized in antiquated India. This started after the administrations in a few states forced a prohibition on blasting saltines during Diwali. In a tweet on November 14, the Bengaluru cop shared her Facebook post expressing blasting sparklers was not part of the Hindu custom as there was no notice of it in strict sacred texts and stories. As the contentions between the two went on, Twitter suspended the True Indology handle. The explanation behind the record's suspension was not expressed.
