Joe Biden has called on Andrew Cuomo, the governor of New York, to resign

In light of a report by the State Attorney General that concluded the Democratic Governor had sexually assaulted 11 women, US President Joe Biden stated on Tuesday that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo should retire. Mr. Biden told reporters at the White House, "I think he should quit."
Letitia James, the Attorney General of New York, released the findings of an inquiry on Tuesday, revealing that the Governor had engaged in unwanted grabbing, kissing, and hugging, as well as making improper comments to many women. Mr. Biden previously stated that if Mr. Cuomo's actions were shown to be inappropriate, he would call for his resignation.
Mr. Biden stated on Tuesday that he stood by his words, pushing for the Democratic Governor to resign. According to the investigation, the Governor touched, kissed, or made provocative comments to 11 women, in violation of the law, and created a "toxic" environment. Mr. Cuomo denied acting inappropriately in a recorded statement released after the Attorney General released the findings of the five-month independent investigation. He also stated that he has no plans to resign. He will not face criminal charges as a result of the civil inquiry.
