Jharkhand Police identify prime suspect in Ormanjhi beheading case, release photo
Days after a beheaded body of a lady was found in Ormanjhi in Jharkhand's Ranchi area on January 3, the Jharkhand Police has professed to have distinguished the prime suspect for the situation.
The prime suspect in Ormanjhi case has been recognised as Sheik Bilal, an inhabitant of Chandwe Basti in Pithori according to the police who added that a manhunt has been dispatched to seize him.
Police have delivered photographs of the suspect and said that anybody giving important data to catch him will be compensated and his/her identity won't be uncovered.
At first, an award of Rs 50,000 was declared which has now been expanded to Rs 5 lakh.
Ranchi (Rural) Superintendent of Police, Naushad said the denounced was in prison before regarding a homicide case.
Fights had broken out in the state following the "grim" episode. The BJP named the occurrence as "more frightful than the Nirbhaya case" and asserted that the Hemant Soren-driven government in Jharkhand "flopped wretchedly" to give insurance to the ladies in the state.
