Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Manoj Sinha inaugurates International Arbitration Centre.

Lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha inaugurates the Jammu and Kashmir International Arbitration centre, saying its establishment in the time of liberal economy and globalisation is a significant move.
The centre was inaugurated at the Sher-I-Kashmir international conference centre, Srinagar in the presence of the Jammu and Kashmir high court Chief Justice Gita Mittal, judges of the high court & members of the Arbitration committee.
The Jammu and Kashmir international Arbitration centre is aimed to achieve the object behind section 89 civil procedure code, to save time and ensure that Arbitration proceedings remain inexpensive. This mechanism will do away with cultural and language barriers, confusion over legal language employed in different courts and delays which causes great financial and other hardships to investors.
The governor added, this step will help the union territory to promote domestic and international investments, industry, business and trade.
