EC Can Serve 10 Notices, Will Continue to Oppose Dividing Voters on Communal Lines: Mamata Banerjee
Declaring that she would keep on raising her voice against any endeavor to partition electors on collective lines, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said that the Election Commission may serve 10 showcause sees on her however she will not change her position. The survey board had on Wednesday given a notification to Banerjee for abusing the model set of principles, after she supposedly encouraged the Muslim people group to cast a ballot en block for the TMC.
