Dubai to restrict nightlife amid virus increase

New restrictions on nightlife has been announced by Dubai to prevent rising tide of coronavirus infections.
Tourism authorities of Dubai have ordered to all bars and restaurants in the city-state not to serve and has asked to halt "entertainment activities” at 1 a.m. Hotels will be restricted by law to offering only delivery and room service after 3 a.m.
As Dubai is known as a top travel destination and known for its lively nightlife, emerged from lockdown, the new rules are the first since restaurants and bars were allowed to reopen in July.
Since the pandemic began, more than 90,600 infections including over 400 deaths, has been recorded by the United Arab Emirates.
