Delhi Riots-"His picture speaks volumes about his conduct on that day", Delhi court denies bail to Shahrukh Pathan, who pointed gun at cop:
The Karkardooma Court (Delhi) on Thursday (04th February) would not give Regular bail to Shahrukh Pathan, whose scandalous picture, demonstrating him pointing a firearm at a cop, during February 2020 Delhi Riots had turned into a web sensation on the Social Media/Internet. While denying him bail, the Additional Sessions Judge, Amitabh Rawat noticed, "What is material is the gravity of the offenCe and the charges against the denounced which are very grave. Also, added to it is the lead of the blamed indicating that he doesn't fulfil the triple test for award of bail."
Argument against Pathan
The moment argument against Pathan was enlisted under Section 147, 148, 149, 216, 186, 307, 353 and 34 IPC read with Section 25 and 27 Arms Act. The Special Prosecutor restricted his Bail Plea expressing that on 24th February 2020 he was found wielding a gun with the nerve of shooting and pointing it at police work force HC Deepak Dahiya, who was deputed on that day for lawfulness courses of action close to Jafrabad Metro Station.
He further presented that the electrifying episode was caught by a Journalist in his cell phone which became breaking news on all the news channel and news papers. After the said occurrence close to Jafrabad Metro Station, he had fled, in any case, after a deliberate exertion; the candidate was captured by the group of Crime Branch on 03.03.2020 from Shamli Bus Stand, Uttar Pradesh based on mystery data.
