Delhi Police prepared with 'anti-sword squad' incase of violence during farmers' protest
The Delhi Police on Monday was seen moving around with shields to shield themselves from any assault of swords by the protesting farmers. Anticipating another confrontation with the protesting farmers, the police have now planned swords and shields to shield themselves.
These swords are planned in such a way that they can get the aggressors far from the law requirement groups. The length of the swords is practically twofold than the standard blade.
More than 400 cops have been harmed since the 26th Jan riots. Furthermore, the vast majority of them have been hit by sharp weapons by the farmers.
On Friday, the Station House Inspector of Alipur, where farmers have been sitting in dissent for 68 days, was assaulted with swords. Assessor Paliwal has endured genuine wounds and is being treated in the clinic.
Specialists treating him educated that Paliwal has been worked on twice and now should experience medical procedures.
To keep such occurrences from occurring later on, the police have arranged a crew to protect themselves.
