Brexit negotiations will continue beyond Boris Johnson’s October 15 deadline, Michel Barnier tells EU ambassadors

Brexit negotiations ‘will go on even if a deal is not reached by PM’s Oct 15 deadline’
The Prime Minister has insisted that a deal must be struck by October 15 for it to pass before the end of the Brexit transition period on December 31.
EU diplomats have said they don't believe Mr. Johnson's threat to walk out of trade deals if they are not met on October 15. Instead, talks will continue for at least two more weeks, with the end of October being seen as the real deadline to reach a deal.
Negotiations continued between Mr. Barnier ad Lord Frost this morning and will carry on next week in a "restricted session"
