Bombay HC At Goa Asks State To File Affidavit Stating That Usage Of Aarogya Setu App No Longer Mandatory For Entering Collectorate Building

The High Court of Bombay at Goa asked the State Government to file an affidavit stating that no app is mandatory in light of a statement made by the Advocate General of Goa Devidas Pangim. Bench of Justices MS Sonak and MS Jawalkar heard the PIL filed by activist Sudeep Dalvi. Advocate Shashwat Anand appeared on behalf of the petitioner along with advocates Shrinivas Khalap and Chintan Nirala. This app asks for personal information. A nine judge bench said that right to privacy can not be infringed at any cost.
