Bihar LJP MP Prince Raj booked for rape after order of Delhi court

A fir has been lodged against the Lok Janshakti party (LJP) MP from Samastipur, Bihar, Prince Raj.
According to the police, a fir was recorded under the sections of the IPC 376, 376 (2) (K), 506, 201 and 120b.
She had complaint against Raj at the Connaught Place Police Station about three months ago, but the police had taken no action.
The woman then filed a petition in court demanding the registration of FIR against the MP. The Rouse Avenue Court on 9 September, ordered the Connaught Police station to record a fir, as she added.

According to the police, the victim met with the Prince Raj of the Ljp for the first time in Western Court, Janpath, Delhi in January 2020. Raj alleged that the victim was sexually attacked after drugging and made a video to threatened her. Raj started visiting the victim's house regularly. The woman claimed the denunciation of her that the Prince also tried to destroy the evidence.
