At least 8 people killed in the Marib bombings : A Yemeni official.

At least eight people were killed in explosions that shook the Yemeni city of Marib, according to the information minister. He described the situation as "Houthi forces attempting to capture the gas-rich area with missile and drone strikes."
The Houthis fired two ballistic missiles and two armed drones at a mosque, a shopping centre, and a women's correctional facility, as well as ambulances rushing to the scene, according to Minister Muammar al-Iryani.
He initially placed the death toll at eight, including women, and said 27 people were injured. According to two medical reports, the hospital received five deaths and more than 15 injuries.
The Houthi movement, which is allied with Iran and has launched an offensive to take the internationally recognised government's last foothold in the Arabian Peninsula's north, has not confirmed this.
An explosion near a gas station in Marib killed at least 17 people earlier this month. The government blamed a Houthi missile for the attack, but the group claims it hit a military camp.
"This dangerous escalation (on Thursday) shows that the terrorist Houthi militia does not understand the language of dialogue and does not believe in peace," Iryani said, referring to UN-led peace efforts.
