As Farmers blocked Delhi - Jaipur highway : Ashok Gehlot Chief Minister of Rajasthan urged center to resolve agricultural laws issues
On Monday, The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot urged the center to find an amicable solution to farmer's protest against the centre's new farm laws without accusing anti - national elements of being behind the stir.
Ashok Gehlot said in his tweet that The statement issued by BJP leaders decrying farmer's protest are most unfortunate and condemnable and said the farmers have protesting peacefully and he demanded that their protest is for their most genuine concerns which the government is ignoring , the farm laws that are not in the interest of the farming community must be taken back.
Currently, Thousands of farmers are protesting at Delhi borders with Haryana and Uttar Pradesh in protest against the Farmer's produce trade and commerce (promotion and facilitation) act , 2020, the the farmers (Empowerment and protection) agreement on price assurance and farm service act , 2020 and the essential commodities (amendment) Act, 2020.
The government has been maintaining that the new farm laws will bring farmers better opportunities and usher in New technologies in agriculture.
