According to a US lawmaker, Pakistan aided the Taliban and played a key role in the takeover of Afghanistan

According to a US lawmaker, Pakistan and its intelligence agency played a critical role in protecting the Taliban and its takeover of Afghanistan.

Republican lawmaker Steve Chabot went on to say that it is disgusting to see Islamabad celebrate the Taliban's victory in Afghanistan, which will result in "unprecedented brutality" for Afghans.

According to PTI, Steve Chabot, Co-Chair of the India Caucus, said in an address on Sunday that he applauds India for welcoming Afghan religious minorities who have reason to fear persecution at the hands of the Taliban and their evil rule.We all know that Pakistan, particularly its intelligence services, played a critical role in fostering the Taliban and eventually allowing them to take over. It's disgusting to see Pakistani officials celebrate the victory of this group, which will inflict unspeakable atrocities on the Afghan people,” Chabot said.
The Taliban stormed Kabul on August 15 evening, and President Ashraf Ghani was forced to flee the country as the capital descended into chaos. Thousands of Afghans began flocking to Kabul's airport in the hopes of being evacuated from the country.Pakistan's own persecution of religious minorities, on the other hand, receives far less attention in the United States than it deserves. We would be wise to educate our fellow citizens about these atrocities. Persecution is most visible in the heinous practise of kidnapping, forced conversion to Islam, and forced marriage of underage Hindu girls to older Muslim men. India has created a new visa category called ‘e-Emergency X-Misc Visa' to make it easier to grant visas to Afghan nationals seeking asylum. All Afghans, regardless of religion, can apply online for the ‘e-Emergency X-Misc Visa,' which will be processed in New Delhi.
