AAP government took no effective steps to prevent Covid-19 surge in Delhi despite repeated warnings: Centre to Supreme Court

The central had told the Supreme Court that the AAP government had not taken effective action to prevent Covid-19 from spreading over the state. The central also told to arrange 15, 000 ICU beds but no timely measures were taken by the Delhi government. The Delhi government did not take steps to increase the testing capacity for RT-PCR. The case which was taken up today for hearing today, was adjourned for Tuesday next week after the supreme Court noted that the measures by the centre were not being implemented in the ground by the state.
