"US and UK have an indestructible relationship : Boris Johnson"
Boris Johnson told the BBC that the US-UK partnership should be known as the "indestructible relationship" after meeting US President Joe Biden for the first time.
He described his talks with Vice President Joe Biden, who is in Cornwall for the G7 summit of world leaders, as "terrific." Vaccines and climate change are on the agenda for the summit, which starts later.
Mr Johnson said that President Donald Trump had not chastised him over post-Brexit tensions in Northern Ireland.
Mr. Biden, on the other hand, is said to be "deeply concerned" about the situation.
This statement was made by the Prime Minister after speaking with Mr. Biden in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, on Thursday, ahead of the G7 summit.
For the first time since the pandemic, the leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom will meet in person at the summit.
