"Govt always makes efforts to revive PSUs that can be revived: Prakash Javadekar in Lok Sabha"
Association Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday said the public authority consistently puts forth attempts to restore public area endeavours that can be resuscitated.During the Question Hour in Lok Sabha, Javadekar said the exertion consistently is to use full limit of PSUs."There is consistently a work to guarantee that those units which can be resuscitated are restored," he stated.The clergyman further said the public authority has affirmed the restoration, consolidation, or rebuilding of some open area endeavours (PSUs)."Some of them are Brahmaputra Valley Fertiliser Corporation Ltd, Hindustan Steelwork Construction Ltd, Richardson and Cruddas Ltd, NEPA Ltd, Hooghly Printing Company Ltd, Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd, Mahanagar Telecom Nigam Ltd (MTNL) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL)," he said.Answering to an inquiry, Javadekar said BSNL and MTNL are key assets."And in essential area, there will be government presence and there will be privately owned businesses likewise," he said. He additionally explained that the public authority isn't privatising Life Insurance Corporation of India.
