"Funds under MPLADS for 2019-20 cleared: FM Sitharaman"
Money Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday said in the Rajya Sabha that store under the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) for 2019-20 have been cleared. The clergyman further said that whatever responsibilities have been made for the year 2019-20 will be honoured."I have cleared the record on it...For 2019-20, the year prior to the crown thing occurred, each responsibility, which has been made by decent MPs will be satisfied. SitharAman said cash has been cleared from the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (MoSPI) has guaranteed her that they will be promptly sending the cash to the districts.MPLADS assets for 2019-20 have been cleared for MPs from both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. Under the plan, every MP has the decision to propose to the District Collector for works to the tune of Rs 5 crore for each annum to be taken up in his/her constituency.The Rajya Sabha Members of Parliament can suggest works in at least one areas in the State from where he/she has been chosen.
